WALK THE EXTRA MILE

It was a super sunny day and the change of venue gave us access to many more passing visitors. The tombola was kept busy all day, the plant stall sold out and the book stall was much lighter at the end. The number of walkers was slightly lower than some previous years, but the day was overall a great success and our thanks go to Lesley and all who helped, but mostly to those of you who came to support us.

Needless to say we will be holding this event again next year, so please get your name down for a fundraising pack.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds to support the work of Diabetes UK, and a large proportion is invested in research in Sheffield. Please support us in this vital work.
