Our thanks to all those who supported this event. It was a glorious sunny day, and the tombola, bookstalls and plant stall were kept busy all afternoon. Already £250 has been handed to the treasurer, with more sponsorship money to come. Thanks Again to all who helped. This money will one day find a cure for Diabetes!

Supermarket collections

We hold collections at various supermarkets throughout the year. These are a valuable source of fundraising as well as enabling us to raise the profile of Diabetes UK.

We always need volunteers to help out. We usually ask people to do a 2 hour stint. Shoppers often appreciate the opportunity to donate to Diabetes UK. If you would like to help or would like more details, please contact Charlotte on 0114 2507418, or email: sheffield.diabetes@tesco.net

Other collections at Morrisons Meadowhead and Halfway and at Atkinsons together raised £1341.40.

These collections are our biggest source of income. Please help us if you can. Our thanks to Charlotte who organises these collections. Railway Event.

 This event was a great success despite dismal weather. The tombola and bookstalls were busy for the whole event. We raised  £144 over the two day event.

Thanks to the Abbeydale Miniature Railway and to all those who braved the weather.

Please bear this event in mind if you have children, young or in their 50's. It is like Sheffield's own Blackpool!
